TraitTail is built to be a small, friendly experience. This policy explains the very limited information we collect when you visit the site.

What we collect

• Anonymous traffic analytics via Vercel Analytics — page views, referrer, country, and broad device class. No cookies are used to identify you, and the data cannot be tied back to an individual visitor.
• Performance metrics via Vercel Speed Insights — Core Web Vitals (such as LCP, CLS, INP) so we can keep the site fast. These are aggregate measurements, not personal data.

What we don't collect

• No names, emails, phone numbers, or other personal details.
• No account information — TraitTail has no sign-up.
• No tracking cookies, advertising IDs, or fingerprinting.
• No quiz answers on our servers.

Your quiz data

Your answers and your result stay in your browser. When you use the share link, your result is encoded directly into the URL so the page can rebuild it on the other end — nothing is sent to or stored on a server.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes basic request logs (such as IP address) as part of operating the platform, in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not share data with any other third parties.

Children

TraitTail is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted here with an updated effective date.
